Coffee Thread #2 - Caffeine Boogaloo - Inori - 10-15-2016

Does anyone have specific brands or production locations (e.g., Vietnam, Columbia) they like? Ratings on coffee house chains?

Personally, I don't have specific brands that I buy (other than Kicking Horse when I'm not broke, it's so expensive) but I love Vietnamese and west coast Canadian blends.
In terms of chains, I can't stand Starbucks or Second Cup and they're both like $5 a cup, Timothy's is ok but too expensive, Dunkin Donuts is mediocre and well-priced when you really need caffeine, and Tim Hortons is great, all over the place (at least in Canada) and from what I know, one of the cheapest out there (also TimBits).

Don't do coffee. Drinking a Monster Rehab, though. Biggrin

I use Dunkin bagged coffee myself.

I'm not sure if you've ever had Philz Coffee or Scout's.

I don't think I have. Are they US chains?

I'm starting to get the feeling that they are...

I love my coffee.

I have a couple of cups a day (double shot per serve), and only drink latte. I've tried all the expensive brands and dislike the taste. There's only one really cheap brand that's (somehow) awesome, and I've stuck with that.

I mostly like Mochas and used to prefer Costa (UK brand, a bit like Starbucks but cheaper and nicer). I've tried Greggs (omg if you've never had their pasties you missed out in life), and theirs is super cheap, especially if you get a sandwich or something - It's also not that bad taste wise. I used to just make my own mochas at home or drink instant. Now I drink starbucks blonde blends from a coffee machine. Still prefer Costa, but better than cheap instant.
