Remove timeframe to edit/delete posts - Despised - 08-30-2016 It'd be great if we could edit/delete our posts whenever we liked. To update tutorials, or correct a typo for example. RE: Remove timeframe to edit/delete posts - mothered - 08-30-2016 I fully support this. I'd like to fix the link In my thread that I posted 15 months ago here: https://sinister.ly/Thread-Tuts-Reverse-Engineering Due to the restrictions, I cannot do so and as a result, I need to post the updated links throughout the thread Itself. You certainly have my vote on this. RE: Remove timeframe to edit/delete posts - Wildfire - 08-30-2016 At the moment, the timeframe is set pretty high and it's not too much trouble to talk to a staff member to edit it for you, but yes, I agree. Cause we had the trouble of people deleting their posts before leaving. As with my case here, I can only edit my thread's post "within" 87658 minutes: Spoiler:![]() There are 1440 minutes In a day, so 87658 รท 1440 = 60.87361. This means I can only edit my post within "60" days (round figures) after posting. Once that time-frame has passed, posts cannot be edited- ever. Some changes have been made to editing since I posted this thread. Like displaying that a post was edited and when exactly. RE: Remove timeframe to edit/delete posts - pvnk - 09-21-2016 Think Oni wouldve already implemented this if he thought it was necessary. Hmm. I don't think this is a good idea. I doubled the amount of time not too long ago. ![]() Closing this. |
