Milk Drinkers - mothered - 08-10-2016 Greetings to all, So there's a coffee and tea thread already In place, so I thought I'd make another thread of similar nature regarding milk. Who drinks milk (If not, why), how much do you consume daily and what's your favorite. I love plain milk without flavoring straight out of the carton. I heat It up until It's piping hot and sip It like coffee/tea. How about your guys? RE: Milk Drinkers - Inori - 08-10-2016 I tend to drink about a 1L bag of 2% every day. Speaking of, why do Americans find the concept of bagged milk so strange? RE: Milk Drinkers - Losi - 08-10-2016 (08-10-2016, 05:10 AM)Ao Wrote: I tend to drink about a 1L bag of 2% every day. Speaking of, why do Americans find the concept of bagged milk so strange? We primarily drink it from either plastic gallon jugs, paper cartons or glass containers. I think adding another way of packing milk wouldn't hurt in the USA. RE: Milk Drinkers - Ex094 - 08-10-2016 I love milk, Infact I put a tablespoon full of honey in milk and drink it every morning :3 RE: Milk Drinkers - superMAUS - 08-10-2016 A few days ago I bought some strawberry milk because it was half price but it had a slight sour aftertaste because its best before date was in 3 days. Given It's a dairy product, In my locality they have a "Use By" date, which obviously means It must be used prior to the stamped date and not consumed after It. "Best before" Is when you can still have It after the date specified. I'm surprised that In your case It's marked as best before. Dairy products (when expired) can make you quite sick. Maybe strawberries are sour? I have never tried one. EDIT: Except for strawberry yogurt which was sour. I love strawberries and they can have somewhat of a different aftertaste.
