Experts at Windows Phone - Yung Lean - 08-08-2016
Hey,
Story is this. That I found a old Nokia Lumia 520 in my drawer and thought why not sell it for couple euros/pounds/dolla dolla bills yall.
But hell nah phone is locked to O2 carrier, and yeah yeah I know you'd all say why not you reach out to O2 and say you want to unlock your phone since its been way past two years of having it.
Well shit I moved countries and lost my old O2 sim card. I tried to talk to those O2 master chiefs and find a way around to let them unlock my phone but they said they cannot do shit without me having my Sim Card blah blah.
So I did some googling as always and found comments saying that you can actually flash Stock WP (Unlocked) Firmware well got me like yeah that would be nice But I seen only comments saying you can actually do it but none tutorials were there tried googling more found how to flash your phone but that crap just takes your current firmware and does factory reset that's it.
SO is there any WP experts that actually know how to flash stock rom again to be able to unlock that phone or atleast how to modify files to delete lock for carrier.
I know a bit that you must root into Registry but ain't no easy way to do it.

I'm pretty sure that the Lumia 520's modem firmware is separate from the ROM, a simple reflash probably won't help you.

well at least someone knows how to root in Registry... that would be helpful.
