New I want to learn. - Apocalytptic - 07-03-2016

I'm new around here and well I'm looking for a place to learn new things about "hacking", technology, and also programming. Currently I am noob programmer that is quite fluent in python, HTML/XML (even though its markup not coding), CSS, but also moderately good at batch and bash scripting. I used to be good at VisualBasic but I haven't used it in over 3 years so I can't really do much if you asked me to code something in it. Anyways I am looking for somebody to kinda bring me into the "hacker" world with a lot more aggressive community fights and stuff because that's where I excel only thing is I don't know where to start.

Welcome to the forum. If you need information, be sure to check the rules/help docs. Biggrin

Hacking always starts with code. Best to touch up on your VB skills before you do anything else, try learning SQL as well. Also, welcome to the forum. Enjoy your stay. Smile

Select one as your "starting point" and your resources are almost limitless around the net. You seem like someone who wishes to excel, so I don't believe you'd have too many Issues In your pursue to achieve your goals. We're a helpful community so feel free to ask for assistance as required.

You're welcome.

If you're after a goal, keep at It and don't let anything stand In your way. Always go In with a positive and "can do" attitude- that In Itself, can make all the difference between success and failure.
