Regents Exams - zenith - 06-14-2016
In New York state you are required to take tests for the state to record. Basically for your core classes you have to take these state tests.
Now my classes have ended today. So I have some free time on my hands to spam on forums like this :d
But these exams are really screwing with my head. I have a Global final (Global 1 so not a regents), Algebra, Spanish, and Biology (Biology in High School is a joke)
Idk what to do. i want to study but I keep...not

I never gave a shit about those exams. Do colleges look at them? (In my case, they were strictly state only.) If not, then there's a minimum score to graduate HighSchool, get above that score and you're good. No other effects, doesn't effect college, than why the fuck worry. Who gives a shit about a few state stats, there are video games to play

I kinda do. I wanna go to Syracuse University for film (probably). Which is in my state... idk but my gpa needs it. i have like a 2.9 or something

Ahh state exams didn't effect GPA for me. They were purely statistical. Absolutely no one studied for them.
That's rough. I'd say don't procrastinate and review your material, or you will regret it later.

The only thing I recommend is set yourself smaller goals/tasks in study. Find a balance. Tell yourself to do something until a particular time is up. Then game. Then go back to it and do the same. Structure it otherwise it's just endless and you phase out of it.
I can't comment on the usefulness of it later though, since I'm British and we don't have whatever that is.

Actually, also in NY and also facing same tests, don't sweat it honestly, the regents is meant to fool and deceive you into fucking it up so they have an excuse to cut funding, but take some practice tests and make sure you know the materials and you're golden.
