But, I had no idea Spirited Away was about prostitution. With No-name being a guy who wanted to take her virginity.

Holy shit this just blew my mind.

I had no idea either. What's the full theory behind this?

I know there is a video somewhere that explains a bunch of theories surrounding Miyazaki movies. My Neighbor Totoro is a particularly eerie one I think

Yeah, Miyazaki and these theories are really intriguing to delve into.

Here's the video where I found the My Neighbor Totoro theory

Some of this stuff is crazy mind-blowing and chilling at the same time. Really cool stuff.

I have never watched Spirited Away or My Neighbour Totoro. So many people seem to have seen them when they were younger.

I wouldn't say I'm that crazy for anime but Spirited Away is just fucking insane. I love it, its like a Japanese Alice in Wonderland (the books not the film). On the other hand, I was never keen on Totoro which seems to be enjoyed more by people who like anime. Regardless you should definitely check both out, or at least Spirited Away.

They are really good imo, and withstand the test of time. I just re-watched Spirited Away a month or two ago after not watching it for a looong time and it was a great nostalgic trip, as well as noticing things in the story I didn't catch heed of when I was younger

Def Recommend

I'll add both to my watch list then! Are they like films or episodes?

All films, it would have been interesting if Miyazaki released a show, though

Yes, I read about that. It's not a cutesy film as most people depict it as. Furthermore, it has nothing to do with people who watch anime or don't watch anime. It has to do with people's faculty of knowledge and how they use it.
