Suggestion #3 - Slacker - 05-16-2016

Ok well I occasionally browse the SCAM REPORTS section and it is a straight up mess. If it were to be organized it would be a whole lot easier to see who's legit, who's questionable and who's legit. There are several things that could be incorporated towards organization

1. We do not need multiple guides to not being scammed. Simply put either sticky one and remove the rest or ask some one to use thier knowledge and the existing threads to make a master guide and STICKY the post. (I would be more then willing to compile this for you.)

2. Make a inconclusive subforrum. This is for reports that lacked enough evidence for the staff to act upon. This Wil allow users to QUICKLY browse the reports for a certain user prior to begining a deal.

3. Make a "convicted" sub forum with all the scam reports resulting in direct action from staff against a scammer.

I know most people don't really make a rabbit of visiting this area, I do prior to deals as a precaution. It doesn't mean it needs to be a complete mess as that still leaves a negativ perception of the forums over all upkeep.

I only agree with your first point.

The Marketplace isn't at all active here and the transactions that do go on here are mostly middle-manned by Staff.

The last actual scam was 12-16-2015, 03:24 AM.

It will pick up I promise you that. Just waiting on the righ merger figured get it organized before that happens.

Why are you promising me that it will pick up, concerning aha.

Understandable though.

RE: Suggestion #3 - Slacker - 05-16-2016

Cause we've added how many people with just this last merge? There will be activity there and it'll snowball (even if slowly) into a lot of activity sooner or later as we eat more forums.

This doesn´t sound to bad, it´s better to take precautions forehanded than afterwards.

I certainly agree with these points.

Not everyone has the tools (mentally), awareness and know-how on how to Identify a potential scam. A general guide outlining everything possible relative to scams, Is a great Idea. So too Is the "convicted" sub forum. This will act as an Informative portal for all members to see.

Clearly I'm In support of this suggestion.

I like this suggestion. It's not something I have ever dabbled in so would want Oni's comments on this. I can see why you made the suggestion and it probably would be better to have something sorted in advance. Although, I'm not sure how quickly it would be done as there may be other things higher on Oni's priorities. Will have to see.
