Private support section. - Hero - 05-15-2016

Greeting Sinister.ly,

As you may know Sinister.ly uses Mail to get in contact, it's more advanced than BB but it takes longer to reply and or make. I've seen on other Forums a section called 'Private support'. This section is accessible by everyone but only Moderators and you can see your own Thread. For example, @Pirate needs help from the Moderators, sure, he could PM them but allowing to make a Thread lets them respond easier and can the Moderators see what another Staff member replied. To reduce spam within the Private section, you could enable a rule that applies to the following agreement: 'Unnecessary threads will be by a warning' , if after a certain amount of times the User doesn't change his behaviour, he will be temporarily banned or muted.

Regards,

Maybe members will actually use Discord for this.

Maybe, but some members are lurking and don't download any of the Primary communication methods.

Someone removed me from the Discord. Quite rude if you ask me.

It will not let me re-join. What have you done?!

Regards,

I actually rather like the sound of this. We were discussing the use of a support suggestion on another thread but this seems a much neater and carefully planned out. I wonder if this could be implemented.

I like this idea very much! I wonder how easy it would be to implement, though.
This helps only the user asking the question and all staff members assist the user.
Great idea, hopefully we'll be seeing it happen soon.

Provided It doesn't generate a heavy workload for Staff members and doesn't get abused, In my views, I believe this will serve It's purpose well.

Already, there's quite a few gateways of communication. Another one (that warrants It's existence), won't hurt.
