[POLL] Purge reputation given by banned users - Adorapuff - 05-08-2016
I don't think anyone would disagree, but some people would loose a bit of rep given by banned members, so there's a poll whether it should be all reputation purged or only negative reputation. Not sure if purging only negative one's would even be possible, but maybe it would. Anything anyone wants to add, please do.

I'd be in favor of removing all reputation left by banned members. It's unfair to take the good, without the bad.

I realized the only reputation I have by banned members are negatives so I am now in favor of this.

Leave it be. If you got reputation from a banned member you got it for a reason, if it's unjust tell oni or someone else and have them remove it, just because these members are banned now doesn't mean the reputation they gave out was illegitimate or without reason. Pirate you deserve all the negs you've been given, coming from someone you scammed you, deserve more.

Reputation is a system used to represent a user's standing on the forum. As much I'd personally like negative reputation left by banned members to be removed from my reputation page whenever I get negative reputation given to me, objectively, it still lets other members see how users respond to my attitude, and how I respond back to theirs.
Similar concept for completely purging all reputation. Purging all reputation from every member just easily gives members new opportunities to obscure what wrongs they did in the past. If some members still hold negative opinions about other members, it's going to be rather tedious to manually have to dish out negative reputation points after each reputation purge.

Just leave it as it is. It's fine.
