RE: do you need grammar to be intelligent? - m0rtar - 02-29-2016 It's always funny when there's a grammar argument in the YT comments. RE: do you need grammar to be intelligent? - Jebusfathead - 02-29-2016 Nope, that's like saying you need a hat to be an apple, makes no sense RE: do you need grammar to be intelligent? - Cakey - 02-29-2016 (02-29-2016, 06:26 PM)Jebusfathead Wrote: Nope, that's like saying you need a hat to be an apple, makes no sense You do need a hat to be an apple though. RE: do you need grammar to be intelligent? - Wit - 02-29-2016 I would say being intelligent has a part in having grammar, without grammar and many other components, how can you say you are intelligent. If you are going to call yourself intelligent, you should be able to know how to spell, placement of punctuation marks, etc. RE: do you need grammar to be intelligent? - Jacob_mybb_import13674 - 02-29-2016 (02-29-2016, 06:51 PM)Harmony Wrote: I would say being intelligent has a part in having grammar, without grammar and many other components, how can you say you are intelligent. If you're ignorant, you can misspell words quite often and just mess everything up. If you're intelligent, you either type with good grammar or sub-par grammar. RE: do you need grammar to be intelligent? - Silence - 02-29-2016 I wouldn't say grammar is a requisite for intelligence. Intelligence can be a lot of different things actually - for you can be intelligent in one field, say math; yet poor in another field, say english. So, no - I don't feel that Grammar is needed to be intelligent. (Before someone says something I am actually somewhat intelligent with an IQ of 135). |
