RF Moving Slowly - Migo - 01-01-2016
So I don't want to sound like a jackass, but I would like to point out a few things that's going on right now in our community that I'm either disliking or find an issue with.
> We were told a theme was coming "soon".
> New staff member whom I don't even know who he really is. Literally registered a month ago
> I'm no longer upgrading members because people find that I'm obligated to do so because I have money and in the past often upgraded others.
> When is new stuff going to be added to the Credits system like said?
I don't know these little things just keep adding up on RF and I feel like it's slowing down a little bit here. Even though we might be getting new members and have a good advertising campaign going right now we need to keep up with everything to ensure new members and current members are excited to stay here on RF.
Don't want to complain, honestly. I just want to see if anyone else is feeling how I'm feeling lately. Any thoughts on this?

I agree with this thread 110%it was months ago when there was said that there will be more added to the credits system.
and about paradigm, that is true. he is a pretty good staff member from what I have seen and he was HQ before he was staff BUT you did make a good point there. I don't think anyone should be able to have that big of a job I guess you'd say for someone who just joined recently.

Well it's cool if Paradigm is staff I have no problem with him at all and I think he's doing a good job but I don't think it's fair that he's elected into the staff team while there are several other members here that I can name out that deserve the position of staff far more than him. That's just according to statistics and personal accounts with these members.

The new theme is being worked on along with new features. A lot of members have seen it already.
We have a lot of things to do behind the scenes of RF. For example someone was hitting RF at around 12:30 AM (my time) and I've been fighting it since then to keep RF online. So is other staff members like Mayo and Paradigm. They are working on custom plugins as I'm writing this.
I've been up doing server maintenance and tasks until now (It's around 7 AM as I am typing this).
Please respect that since we're doing everything we can to make RF a better place.

I know the theme is being worked on. That's the status it's been at for the past month or two.
RF needs better protection obviously if you guys are working around the clock to protect it from DDOS attacks. Why can't you and the admins work something out to where we have a better firewall? Or better DDoS protection? Sorry, I'm not very technological.
I don't think you guys are doing a very good job of holding up RF if all you guys have time to do is work behind the scenes of RF. Any good webmaster / development team would be able to cover all the server maintenance work and keep up with the needs or requests of what the members what on the front screen.

Reality Forum has one of the most sophisticated DDoS protection we could ever setup.
New attacks can be hard to mitigate and you won't belive that RF gets DDoSed at least 2-3 times a day.
It's running at full speed most of the time thanks to our protection.

Alright great, now you guys need to deliver what the members want. If you have such great DDoS protection you shouldn't be worrying about it so much.

Honestly, I agree. It's like RF is sitting in one place twiddling its thumbs instead of moving any forward.
