Recommend a linux distro - Para - 11-25-2015 I've got a spare drive sitting in a bay in my PC and I'm looking at moving from Windows to Linux as my main operating system. I'm probably going to end up using Windows for some things from my primary drive and use a distro of Linux as my main operating system. The question is which linux should I use? I've only ever used Ubuntu and Centos 5 and that is for running my servers over SSH. The OS I'm going to run needs to have a nice UI and look clean however still functional. Please only reply if you've used Linux as main OS before. I would look into Linux mint or Linux mint MATE. super light OS and runs smooth with very little resources. I've used it before, so I've got a fairly good amount of experience on it.

Either Ubuntu or Mint, but I prefer the themes that fit best with unity.
