Recommend a linux distro - Para - 11-25-2015

I've got a spare drive sitting in a bay in my PC and I'm looking at moving from Windows to Linux as my main operating system. I'm probably going to end up using Windows for some things from my primary drive and use a distro of Linux as my main operating system.

The question is which linux should I use? I've only ever used Ubuntu and Centos 5 and that is for running my servers over SSH. The OS I'm going to run needs to have a nice UI and look clean however still functional.

Please only reply if you've used Linux as main OS before.

I would look into Linux mint or Linux mint MATE. super light OS and runs smooth with very little resources.

ChromeOS. Sandboxed to hell with a nice Chrome GUI xD

LXLE is pretty awesome, I'll include a picture below. I've used it before, so I've got a fairly good amount of experience on it.

Go for Ubuntu, that's what I'll be doing again. Either Ubuntu or Mint, but I prefer the themes that fit best with unity.

Seems most people are saying Ubuntu so I will go with it as I'm familiar with it anyway.

LXLE is a great one that'd I'd recommend looking at. However, Ubuntu is also pretty good.
