Review: Oz the Great and Powerful - lelysakbals - 03-13-2013

So, I went to go see Oz the Great and Powerful, it was a good movie, great storyline and everything, so, here's MY summary of the movie.
Spoiler:
Oscar, a carnival magician, starts off playing a show, being a conman, he tries to make money doing "magic shows", but his career and popularity drop after a girl who believes in him wishes for him to make her walk, and he tries to make an excuse about it. Later, Oz "Oscar" gets into trouble with a couple of people, he runs off into a hot air balloon but is shocked to find out that there is a tornado heading their way, and is marked for death, but then, at a stroke of luck, he is taken to the land of Oz, where Theodora, "The Good Witch", greets him at a river, and believes he is "The Wizard". He gets to the palace, and meets Evanora, the royal treasurer of Oz, who turns out to be the REAL "Wicked Witch", and tells Oscar that the gold is all his, after he defeats the wicked witch of course. So Oscar sets out to kill the wicked witch, and while on his journey he meets a lot of different creatures, including a friendly flying monkey, and a girl made of china.
^ I should totally write a book.
All in all I give this movie a 9/10, mainly because they could have added so much more after stopping abruptly.

I saw this last weekend with my girl and it was amazing. I love hoe they explained how everything happend. Nice review though, you should do them more often

The trailer looks awesome, would you say the trailer is better than the film? It is for most movies..

Subtle, but amazing when you realize it.
Sadly, I had to pirate this movie, ;(
But it was still pretty good ^_^

I would say so, but the movie is actually better than the trailer.
The trailer describes the movie exactly.

Yea when I thought about I was like thats awesome. I dont recall seeing the tinman though.

I'll try to remember seeing him, but I don't think he was actually in the movie
