2x AMD 7990 Benchmark for hash cracking - Killpot - 11-07-2015
Yo, I just opened up OCL Hashcat on my testbench, which just so happens to have 2x AMD HD FirePro 7990's on it.
Each 7990 consists of 2x S10000 Sever Graphics cards that each total 3G vRam, so if you add them, it totals 12G of vRam.
Other than that, it's a 1200W power supply as the graphics cards alone pull around 1000W, then a dual core intel processer and 4G RAM, and a standard run of the mill HDD.
Here's a vid of the Example stress test, it annihilates it.

just updates for stats using a 15GB wordlist, seems like average is ~3600 MH/S per S10000, so roughly ~7200 MH/S per 7990, and a total of 14336.5 MH/s over both cards. I wonder if there is a leader board or something for speeds.

haha, yeah, but I can't get OCL Hashcat to work properly, I'll try to bruteforce something, and it will randomly stop at 1.85% or something and say it's done, it will estimate like 6 hours of cracking, then just stop way short and I can't figure out why.

Well to be fair, the 7990 is to my knowledge was the best card for cracking for the longest time, and still might be, the only problem it has is heat, but I'm think about water cooling it.
