Is it sad that I hate cats? I mean, I love animals in general but for some reason I can't stand cats.

Cats are pretty much the same, they act all cute, get into your house then BAM, you're stuck with it, the cat will rape your family, walk around like it's boss of the house, do whatever it wants!
As for the tooth fairy, I know not to let some fat hairy dude dressed in a fairy costume in my house!
