Pheed is a new social networking site. It's kind of a crossbreed between Instagram and Twitter. It's only been out for a short amount of time and is already gaining popularity.
A lot of original usernames are still available, which to me seems like it's wildly open to exploitation. You could create a fake account under a celebrity/business name and get a fuckton of followers.

Over time the real celebrity (their manager) would just request it to be replaced with real shit. They have the proof to do so.

Yeah I already see that someone "claiming" to be Trinidad James is pretty huge on there.
And actually you can get verified on there even if you aren't the real person and they can't take the account away from you.

I don't like Twitter really, and I hate Instagram, so I guess this isn't for me.

I don't like them either but this seems pretty decent. They're trying to keep it semi exclusive at the moment so I'm taking advantage of getting the good names early.
