do you care about posts? - Neonisa - 02-23-2013

I do - why? there is a big difference between a scammer with less posts and someone trusted with a lot of posts.
posts are a way of being trustworthy, the reputation system is really worthless here, sorry for being that rude.

Thats not good logic at all people with more rep and posts are more likely to be scammers because more people trust them and it's not a good thing to trust people because.

I also do! posts are having something special! without people with high posts there are much less middlemen which can be accepted without many posts.

but I guess someone who had spent DAYS on a forum to scam at the end is really dumb.

Posts mean nothing. Just cause you post a lot doesn't mean you're trustworthy. Look at HF. There are Ub3rs with thousands of post, then turn around and steal hundreds of dollars from other members. Also, rep means nothing. You can help someone out with their computer, they give you +3 or +1, but if you are a scammer, that doesn't change the fact that you're a scammer.

To be honest, post count and rep just help the scammer in the long run, because he looks more trusted. Just my 2 cents.

You can never fully trust someone over the internet.

This is my opinion on the whole thing as well.

I like having a post count, but for the life of me I can't work out why as a post count doesn't determine how high or low quality someone is.

I post because I find it fun and want to help CG grow, not for my post count.

People don't necessarily join a forum to scam but once they get an opportunity to they just do it. But yeah I care about post count sometimes. It doesn't really mean much it's just kind of cool to have a high post count imo.

It doesn't matter the post count, the poster is what matters.

In my opinion, all here at the forums are HQ, all are relaxed, that's the special thing.
