Greetings.
My role is to manage and market the forum and I need to get some opinions here and there to see how user's thoughts on the growth of the site. Let me tell you some facts before you comment so you know a little about it.
- Alpha stage: 29th of December 2015.
- Beta stage: 16th of January 2016.
- Grand opening: 22th of January 2016.
What are your thoughts about the progress and do you see a future? (This is to collect some answers and please state the reasons to what your answer might be. Whether that's a yes or a no.)

I see this forum going pretty far, well professional.
But for some odd reason I think something will happen due to drama on the staff team or something, why do you ask? Well that's usually what happens when forums start.
This forum has a lot of potential and I hope you guys can make the best of it, I'm here with you & the community to help grow it.

I think it's a tough call, it's strange to see so many replies and so many daily comments and posts with such a small user-base as is, it's really disproportional. My initial thoughts were cool but I suppose it could also give the feeling of uneasiness. I think it makes me uneasy as one small mass exodus and the forum would be completely dead.

It's too early to predict a future for this forum.
You have to judge it by statistics and user feedback at this stage really.
As long as you're keeping the users happy, not letting them get bored and making sure they're willing to post you've got nothing to worry about.
It would be worth focusing on advertising the forum for now I think.

Perhaps. You need to keep the users engaged, sometimes it's worth changing things up every now and then.

I'd say it is a bit early to predict how the future will be, I can say that so far it seems to be going alright. Despite a couple bumps in the road things seem to be smooth sailing from now. Take this for what you will, I wouldn't be here if I didn't see a potential future in the forum.

Considering who owns the forum, you yourself should be able to get it to go far. You are a mature person and professional so that will help a lot. I see a future in the forum as long as you don't lose interest or sell it off.

Quite far possibly. As long as new and upcoming users see certain material or parts of the site they like, it should intrigue them to sign up. And if SF gets advertised a lot, most definitely there will be a nice future for SF.
