Survivalist | Indie Game #13 - Aeolian - 04-26-2016

Survivalist

Short and simply survival based Indie, enjoy.

Quote:THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT
You know, part of the reason why they say zombie movies (and tv shows and comics) have been so continuously popular for the past 60 years is that as kind of a “side effect” of the total overtaking of mankind by piles of flesh-eating ghouls, humanity kind of loses sight of a lot of the societal barriers we have in place as part of our daily routines.
It lets you live out your post-apocalyptic fantasy and it’s sort of wonderful not to have the rules of society breathing down your back for a second, you know? But...as dutiful players of today’s game Survivalist already know...those people are forgetting something. Yes, much like 65% of all Twilight Zone episodes, in this zombie apocalypse, the most dangerous creature of all...IS MAN!
MAN will remember your actions from previous encounters and judge you for them. MAN will force you to gain his respect before he joins you. He will be brutal, he will challenge you. But if you can keep your Action RPG/RTS wits about you and conquer your surroundings...then and ONLY then, will you maybe find some time to go unlimited Chicken Bake golfing in that Costco you’ve been dreaming about.
And oh yeah. Watch out for zombies.

Watch someone play:

I havw bought this game a few months ago while Steam winter sale was going on.
I have played this for a few hours and it is pretty good.

This is not a ultra realistic looking game, the camera is like placed in the air watching down at your character (I believe it is called co-op).
But this is a great game, the storyline with rescueing the girl with diabetes and getting her medicine and whatever and so the storyline goes on is pretty good.
You can build bases, find loot, kill zombies which is great to do!

I recommend this game if you like survival games and this game runs on every computer, I've tried on my old crap laptop and it ran very good with 30 FPS.
On my new desktop it runs perfect 100+ FPS.
So even if you can't play DayZ,H1Z1 and all that, then this game is good for you if you want to try out something survival based.
