What a bunch of lil punk bitches. Pretty much threw away their career so pointless.
Eight people have been arrested by Korean authorities as a result of an investigation into match-fixing allegations in StarCraft II competitive play. As reported by Gamasutra, one player was allegedly paid ₩70,000,000 ($61,439) to throw one match, while other players were claimed to have been paid approximately ₩35,000,000 ($30,716). I guess Starcraft II is a bit bigger than I thought it'd be. Throwing a match in any sport or game is just a dumb move in my opinion, as you're risking everything in your career with the thing just for a sum of money, and if you're found then there it all goes. Kinda a stupid thing to do, but, people want their money so they do stupid stuff I guess.
