Yeah, thanks to twitter I knew within about 5 seconds of his death he was dead lol.

My goodness, I had no Idea of his death. I read the thread's title and had to search this further.

From what I've found via a simple Google search, It's still early stages as to the cause of his death. I did find this statement:
Quote:While the singer’s cause of death is not yet confirmed, TMZ, who broke the news of his death, say that multiple sources have confirmed he was treated for a drug overdose and not the flu

I grew up with his music In the 80s. A sad loss to such a wonderful and talented artist.

TBH i never heard of Prince until he died... I've been listening to his music since and it had been sweet! He was a great musician.

Also, i heard he has thousands of unreleased tracks and a "secret" vault containing anything he has ever recorded. I wonder what they'll do with that stuff

I'd assume it'd be released at some point. Like they normally do with dead people's stuff.

If you're In your teens, then his music Is way before your era.

He was quite big In the 80s, and although he Isn't/wasn't as pronounced nowadays, his music Is still just a popular.

I hope they don't fuck up his unreleased albums. Some of the Tupac stuff they released after he died was pretty bad. I don't think Tupac would have liked it.

I am sure there are clear instructions in Prince's will as to what happens with all this unreleased content and family is very likely to push for release to make the $$$.
