Regular vs. Premium Sales - Oni - 04-17-2016

Not that I want more people to upgrade, but I think it'd be nice if only the Premium Sales posts show up on the index/Prostats. There's been a number of new posts in the sales sections and I'd rather they not weigh down our other posts.

Thoughts?

I second this. I'm looking at the sales threads and see alot of users selling with very few posts. They come on here, sell their stuff, and leave without contributing much the the forums as a whole. Its seen as rude by some members.

That would suck for both you and the users considering the majority of sales threads are in the regular sales and I'm sure users (and potential users) would leave and go sell their stuff elsewhere if you followed through with this. The disadvantages outweigh the advantages by a lot.

The last post in the premium sales section was a month ago, the latest in the regular section was today. If you were gonna get rid of just regular sales then you might as well get rid of premium considering it's almost like it's not even there either way.

Rather than getting rid of the sales threads being in the index, you should just make a post requirement. 25-50 or so?

That way, it would force users would actually contribute and increase activity before advertising their stuff.

I agree. A requirement of posts to make sales threads seems like a better idea.

Eh.. it's like there's a huge traffic of Clients which fighting in our Sales thread!!
maybe it's good for your Forum, but don't make it hard on us like other Forums Do! Do it with a few posts first is a good idea but upgrading will not going to work with some new members who came 2 hear as a start! if you leave it with a few posts first that will a give a respect to your Forum and a happy new members to continue rising at your site cause as You know" there isn't much sites which let you sale at their Forum without Being a God-damn God First!" so being different is a Nice idea as well ...that's my opinion .
