I'm amazed at the Google Translate App. I'd say (correct me If I'm wrong) It'll work on character recognition, which Is fine with text In It's machine printed form. I'm just wondering It's accuracy with hand-written text, particular one that's not all that legible. Well, it's not a big secret. ![]() In the most of cases I'm reading Books, E-books, but I'm also surfing the net, and when I encounter some interesting tips and tricks I make a video, in order to share with you guys. Anyway, about google translator. It's very hard to translate handwriting text(Someone who has nice handwriting maybe..), I already tried that. But with printed form you can translate anything, that's for sure! Yes, I certainly agree with handwritten text. I suppose It's accuracy can be Increased by using "feature detection" on each letter It analyzes. For example, the letter "D" consists of one vertical line and one half circle (closing parenthesis) . Everyone, will document (write) It this way. By combining the two, It will form the letter "D". The same methodology can be used for every letter. Theoretically, It sounds good. Whether It works In practice, Is another story.
