How to Remove Adware from Your Computer - Cyber Warrior - 04-01-2016

Especially for beginners.

Adware?
Adware, or advertising-supported software, is any software package that automatically renders
advertisements in order to generate revenue for its author. The advertisements may be in the
user interface of the software or on a screen presented to the user during the installation
process. The functions may be designed to analyze which Internet sites the user visits and to
present advertising pertinent to the types of goods or services featured there. The term is
sometimes used to refer to software that displays unwanted advertisements known as malware.

I've actually got this on my site (as per my signature) here: http://www.freeware.tools/2015/06/adwcleaner-420.html#more

Yet, I've never given It a shot. I can confirm that It's license Is "freeware", and not Ad-supported.
Nice contribution Indeed.

Yeah, this little tool is doing the job right.
Btw, you have nice tools on your website, I will take a more deeply look at it later.
I might take some of those useful tools you got and record a video about, and of course credits(your website) will be given in the description as well. Wink

Hmmm. Firewall rules? Strange. Could be legit but why wouldn't you use something like Spybot or any other AV that comes with adware removal?

Thanks for your kind comments.

Every tool on my site Is (hence the name) "freeware", meaning nothing bundled such as adware, or any Installers. All direct link downloads on an "as Is" basis, with no surprises and absolutely no trials. It's updated each and every day with new software.

Most Importantly, on topic here, I will give this tool a shot. It seems quite promising.

I guess you can, but this is an alternative. I was using 360 Internet Securiti(I'm not saying it is a perfect solution) to clean some adwares on my friends computer, and I failed. So I downloaded this tool, and successed in my mission. Just an example...

Malware removal : Malwarebytes
Junkware removal : JRT (Junkware removal tool)
Adware removal : Adwcleaner
Rootkit removal : TDSSKiller or Rootkit remover from McAfee
Spyware removal : Malwarebytes or spybot

That's what I use ^^

Adwcleaner very recommended for adware.
