Hence the inactivity. - Aeolian - 03-12-2016
Afternoon,
Just wanted to clear up why i have been completely inactive for eight days straight was because i have spent the last 6 days in extreme pain in hospital, my Appendix was infected and busted causing the blood to become septic. During the time of my struggles I've had a lot of support from the forum, friends and most importantly family. Big thank you to all that kept active making sure im doing fine!.
Don't usually make these threads but thought i'd clear things due being asked where i went.

Thanks Oni, was certainty hellish. The pain was too much and I've arrived home a few hours ago feeling good!

My goodness, I can empathize with you.
I've had my appendix burst around 15 years ago, and It was the most excruciating pain I've ever experienced.
I do hope you're well now.

It's pretty nasty for something that is almost useless these days, maybe in the past.

I know, the appendix serves no purpose and the bad thing Is, the Initial symptoms are not always consistent with appendicitis, so you'd probably never know you have It until the pain becomes unbearable. It's not always the case, but It does happen.

Mine instantly kicked in after work, no pain at all leading onto it.

Yes, a friend of mine experienced much the same as yourself.
With me, the pain gradually started until It became unbearable. I was told (by the medical staff), that my symptoms were not consistent with appendicitis, therefore It was somewhat difficult for them to pinpoint It.
