Old But Gold: Sony Ericsson Devices From 2011 Get Marshmallow Support - pvnk - 03-01-2016 Now this is a surprise! Quote:Before making a whole bunch of “Z” devices, Sony, or rather Sony Ericsson, was focused on bringing up some really good and affordable devices. In 2011, Sony released about a dozen mid-range devices that are still quite popular, and not only on XDA. http://www.xda-developers.com/old-but-gold-sony-ericsson-devices-from-2011-get-marshmallow-support/ RE: Old But Gold: Sony Ericsson Devices From 2011 Get Marshmallow Support - Dean Winchester - 03-01-2016 Seems like quite a surprise. Also, my first phone is running KitKat versions of CyanogenMod, all the way from Gingerbread, and Samsung told everyone it wasn't capable of going past ICS originally. Apparently they (they being the people who are continuing development for the phone, not Samsung) want to make it work with Lollipop, but I can't see it happening tbh. http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_exhibit_ii_4g_t679-4277.php RE: Old But Gold: Sony Ericsson Devices From 2011 Get Marshmallow Support - Dean Winchester - 03-03-2016 All this makes me want to grab some old phones again. RE: Old But Gold: Sony Ericsson Devices From 2011 Get Marshmallow Support - pvnk - 03-07-2016 I used to have a bunch of Sony Erikson devices. I have no idea why my parents used to be fanatics over them. Nothing special to me. |
