For the most part, Cox is alright. I just wish our family had a better mbps, but it works quite well with 6 people in one house.
Better than time warner cable!

I was on AT&T for ages but switched to Cox. They were kind of a safehaven for pirates, but after their lawsuit, not so sure...

Currently on Xfinity because it's the only other ISP in my area. Parents thankfully didn't choose AT&T.

I currently have Telstra and Optus. Both are about the same and perfectly adequate.

I have Proximus right now, but I don't think it exists in other countries (not for internet at least). They are pretty slow as well, the unlimited bandwith is an advantage though.

It's not a question that can be answered definitively. There's a lot of factors to consider.
It all depends on your locality, whether the services are available where you reside, need vs want In terms of reliability and/or speed, the caliber of competency with the technical support department , capped or unlimited quota and the list goes on.
You first need to establish exactly what you want and expect from a given ISP and work from there.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Verizon FiOS. The symmetrical speeds for residential customers is especially nice.

Didn't even consider that. Comparing Verizon support to Comcast's or similar though is like comparing pig shit to ribs.
