Your legacy? - Joe - 01-10-2016

What would you like to be known for?

How would you want people to remember you?

RE: Your legacy? - ねこまっしぐら - 01-10-2016

I'm already known as the USDM drift king.

I'd say for all my computational achievements.

In what capacity? My signature and user title says It all.

I have no desire for people to remember me. Even if I were to cure cancer right now, I wouldn't give a fuck if 5 years from now anyone knew who I was. I don't understand all the narcissistic tendencies people have.

̶I̶ ̶a̶g̶r̶e̶e̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶T̶h̶e̶ ̶R̶e̶a̶l̶ ̶S̶l̶i̶m̶ ̶S̶h̶a̶d̶y̶ I'd prefer it if no one knew who I was. The culture that we have created is so cancerous I'd rather not be in the spotlight of it in any way.

And if you mean I was to die tomorrow: Not much really, led a sort of normal life up to now. "That IT guy" is most likely to be it.

I hope that others I've crossed paths with can say I've impacted them in a positive manner. Whether that is through something extraordinary and/or innovative, or simply from day-to-day interactions, I'd be satisfied.

But TRSS didn't say he would prefer that no one knew who he was. He simply said he didn't care. You seem to actively promote people forgetting you.

Anyway, my legacy would be what a charming individual I am. That's important to me.

Reading is difficult. Don't think for a second that I was calling you uneducated.
