[Windows]Need Help: Windows 7 won't load - OversouL - 12-05-2015

Hey guys. I just need help on what the problem is with one of my computers. Everytime I turn it on, it just goes straight to the BIOS and when I try to exit from it, it just comes back.

Before. It was having bluescreens for a while now depending on the game I play, but sometimes it just shutsdown completely.

So could someone point me to what might be the problem is and instructions on troubleshooting maybe?

Provided It's not a hardware-related Issue, @Reimu has made a great suggestion above.

If that doesn't solve It, hit a clean Installation of Windows and be done with It.

I dont think it's a bootloop. When I turn on the pc it just straight up goes into the bios. No other thing shows up before it.

It could be happening for multiple reasons. The most common are

- Your battery on the computer is weak and the BIOS is losing settings. You can usually tell if it's this if the date and time are incorrect on the BIOS page(s).
- Some (or all) of the boot devices can't be found
- Boot order is messed up

Google is probably your best friend in this case.
Try doing a quiet boot and see what happens.

Most of the time when windows fails to boot it automatically restarts, if you mash F8 on startup and select "disable automatic reboot on system failure" you should get a blue screen error code. 9 times out of 10 it's a STOP code and those don't really help but you might get lucky. You could always try to boot to a WINPE disc or a live linux disc and run chkdsk or fsck if it's just a filesystem error.

It's booting Into the BIOS because the BIOS doesn't see the need to boot straight Into the OS. This could be the result of a hardware or software Issue.

Provided It's not hardware-related, a simple clean Installation of Windows will obviously fix the problem. Alternatively, see If there's an option (In the BIOS) to reset It to It's factory default state. Do that and see what happens thereafter.

Try unpluging your keyboard and see what happens. If its same its not keyboard problem. If its desktop computer try to remove cmos battery for few mins then put it back and turn on computer.

Will try all your suggestions soon and give an update. Right now I got chicken pox and can barely move because of back pain.

First and most Importantly, health-wise, hope you have a speedy recovery.

When you get a moment (no rush), please advise on what you've performed on your PC, and whether the outcome was a successful one. If not, we can eliminate the failure(s) and work from there.

Thanks.

Also I haven't done anything yet. I just want to mention now that when I turn it on it doesn't show the part where you press f10 or something like that. When I turn it on it just instantly shows the bios. Also the date is fine, tried to exit and discard changes, but it goes back to the first tab in the bios. I'm still trying to search to add more things to do if none of the suggestions here work.
