Sitting for Security+ on Friday - roger_smith - 12-03-2015
Howdy. I've been pretty quiet about this lately but I'm feeling a little anxious and felt the need to write something about it, lol.
On friday I'll be sitting for my CompTIA Security+ test. This is a test I've been preparing for since at least a month ago. in fact, I've been preparing for the test in some form now for a couple years.
I want to get this exam done and over with because it stands in the way of my ability to study further exams I'm interested in. Friday is also my last chance to sit for the test for at least a couple months. Not to mention I spent $250 on the voucher and odnt' want to flush that kind of cash down the toilet.
Anyway, that's my rambling, hope you enjoyed it.

Let us know how it goes. I've been wanting to get certifications but I'm terrified of failing them haha. it's not so much the fear of failure, it's the fear of wasting money if by chance i do fail. I spend 25k a year just on uni... dont have surplus funds to just flush away on shit like this if it goes badly the first time. lol. These tests are literally more than a weeks pay for me. some of them are 2 weeks pay. argh. i can't wait until I have a full time job again.

I completed the test this morning. It's graded on a scale of 100 to 900. If you sit down and do not answer a single question, you'll score a 100, if you answer every question correct you'll score a 900. Passing is 750. I scored an 833.
