General Rules
1. Common sense. Use your brain.
2. Don't be a dick. Be respectful of staff and other players.
3. Don't abuse glitches/exploits/etcetera.
4. Do not kill other players randomly (aka RDM).
5. Do not kill other players with props.
6. Do not prop climb. Ladders/bridges are okay (refer to rule #1).
7. Do not prop block. Everything must be accessible somehow. One door or fading door for each entrance.
8. No hitboxes, or any form of hitboxing (where defenders can see attackers, but the attackers have to way to attack back).
9. No microphone/chat spamming.
10. Firearms (larger than pistol, in public) and printers are always illegal.
11. Scamming is prohibited. If someone pays you for an item, you give it to them.
12. If two parties are in agreement, deathmatching between them is not considered RDM. Do not disrupt gameplay.
13. Real world trading (i.e. selling DarkRP cash for US dollars) is against the rules (aka RWT).
14. By default, drugs are illegal. The mayor may choose to add a law, legalizing them.
15. If you leave your vehicle unattended in public, it can be impounded by police. It cannot be impounded if it is parked on/along the curb.
16. Abuse of the impounding tool will lead to harsh consequences. Only impound a vehicle if it is blatantly in the middle of the road or abandoned.
Default Laws
- Do not harm others, unless in self-defense.*
- Do not steal from others or trespass on their property.*
- Counterfeiting currency (i.e. money printers) is illegal.*
- You may not have anything larger than a pistol in public.*
- You need a gun license to carry a pistol or own an automatic.
* indicates that the Mayor may not modify this law.
New Life Rules (NLR)
2-1. You begin a new life every time you die. You only recall where your home is and not much more.
2-2. No knowledge from your previous lives may be used or shared with other players. You may not talk/converse with people you just killed, either.
2-3. You may not return to where you died or the nearby area for 3 minutes after dying. (Overlooked if there is no conflict and gameplay is not affected.)
2-4. Goes into effect when changing between certain jobs (i.e. gangster to civil protection).
Meta Game Rules
3-1. You may not utilize knowledge gained outside of RP (aka Meta Game).
3-2. OOC chatter is out of character and you may not use any information from it.
3-3. 3rd party comms, such as Steam/Skype chats are treated the same as OOC chatter.
3-4. Printer sparks are considered OOC. Empty pots and water are not considered drug paraphernalia.
Raiding Rules
4-1. You must announce when you are raiding a property via /advert. The raiding starts when you enter the player's property.
4-2. Only Gangsters may raid and they must have an accomplice. Civil Protection may, if they have a warrant.
4-3. Thieves may burglarize a property (sneak in/steal) or mug people (refer to rule #1). If burglarizing (and not raiding), they may not kill others unless attacked.
4-4. You must wait at least 3 minutes before raiding the same player/property again.
Tips
- Drug dealers and gangsters may grow marijuana/mushrooms. Look for the Botanist NPC. This feature is in beta.
- Don't fill your marijuana plants 100% with water, they will die. Don't buy more than one mushroom planter at once, as they vanish after 3 uses.
- Type in !jb to access the jukebox menu. You can request/play music.
- Report any and all bugs here. Seriously, we want everything perfect.
- If you see errors, it might mean we messed up (or you didn't download something properly). Ask.

So far 5pm to 9pm Central time (US) seems to be our most active time.

Added Chevy, Ford, and Dodge cars. There's fuel pumps/car dealers on the map. Also added a Driver class, which has access to the Taxi.

Found errors:
Weed Mod:
- Pushing "use key" on a potted weed plant removes the seed and any water with no trace.
- Electricity block's Wire thing gets caught on the world and pull around for some reason
- Water bottle seems to have infinite use once it reaches "14"
- Weld is admin only
- Doors, when bought, bring up the door menu automatically. Really annyoing
- Player hit boxes seem to be a cube, should be circular to prevent stacking props on top of players
Suggestions:
- Implement better money printer mod where money is not just dropped. The current printer can be automated and exploited I believe...
- Add Precision Tool
- Add money pot mod

- You aren't supposed to fill the water to 100%. If you do, the plant dies. By pressing 'E' you are removing the dead plant.
- The electricity blocks suck. The growing system isn't our most stable feature.
- I wish I had this infinite water bottle. I've grown a lot of plants. Maybe you did something specific?
- Most tools are admin-only. I'll make it so weld isn't.
- I have to press F2 on doors. It doesn't happen automatically for me.
- I like being able to put stuff on top of people and it isn't a big deal.
- Our printers don't drop the money, you have to use the printer to take the money. It only holds up to $5000, as well.
- Money pot mod?
