Use cleaner words on bans - Earth - 10-24-2015

This is not really an important suggestion rather just an opinion. I think the ban reasons should be more clean.

I am not blaming 1 staff member but all because there is some bad reasons by all staff which it is understandable having to ban multi-accounters and people over and over it can get frustrating.

I just think it would be nicer to see people banned for actual reasons instead of random reasons like "Dildo, asshole, wanker, retard, etc"

I personally believe the main purpose of a ban page is to see why and how long a member was banned for because it is pretty easy to see if someone is banned by just viewing there profile.

So instead of giving random reasons just provide the reason as to which they were actually banned for whether it be flaming, spamming, threatening, etc.

Surely it can't be that hard to take 10 seconds to write the actual reason?.

All my ban reasons have a description explaining why. Generally speaking I agree with you though.

Hate to say it, but @Eclipse seems to be the culprit by looking at the ban page.

Nah it's not just him, scroll down the list and there is some for even former staff members and even some from Oni.

Just looks a little unprofessional to call someone a retard/wanker/faggot among other things in a ban reason. Though I don't really give a fuck, doesn't make a difference to me.

Idk. If the person is just being a spammer, it shouldn't matter. If they did something more significant, or it actually mattered why they were banned, then there should be a proper reason. Generally speaking, this is already the case. Spammers/trolls get the same in response in regards to bans. Plain and simple.

A handful of people if not more are upset with low quality posts, and low quality period. This is just 1 more simple easy to fix no hassle suggestion that improves the quality of the community as well as fixes something putting it back to the use it was designed for.

The purpose of a ban page is to see why a user was banned, how long they are banned for and when they were banned, not to see random swear words.

Staff represent the community and should do so in a professional manner. Set a good example not a bad one is pretty much a better way to explain it.

Agree.
And the reasons should cross-check with what's documented In the rules.

To my knowledge, a ban Is Issued due to non-compliance with forum rules. After all, If a member's posts and actions do not breach any guidelines within the forum as a whole, I don't see on what grounds a ban can be Issued.
