Just watched Parasyte - roger_smith - 10-04-2015
Just watched the first episode of Parasyte on Toonami. Seems like it could be an interesting show. Watching the commercials leading up to Toonami I wasn't sure if it would be something I found interesting or not. I've decided to give it a few episodes and see what I think. So far I'm interested though.

I don't think I've mentioned Parasyte on this forum; it's basically Tokyo Ghoul but 50000x better. Romance, gore, horror and everything you need. It's an anime you can enjoy a lot, and I hope you enjoy it!

Kickass! I found it to be a blast. The action scenes are engaging and I found the main character to be quite relatable.

Really? I was really into Tokyo Ghoul when it was still airing, if this is true I might actually have to check this out at some point or another.

Yeah, I'm 100% sure. It depends on what you like, the story progression in Tokyo Ghoul is fast whereas everything is detailed and enjoyable in Parasyte, imo. What they're trying to express and the powers and stuff are practically the same as Tokyo Ghoul.

Did not know that. I thought Tokyo Ghoul was completely different. Haven't seen it yet.

They're practically the same, what the author is going for in TG and Parasyte are extremely similar but just a few different tweaks. Instead of ghouls, there are parasites that are just as violent. TG is good but Parasyte > TG, nevertheless, I hope you enjoy it!
