According to an archive of the 2channel (2ch) message board, the suspect's alleged threats include messages such as "I'm going to kill Suzuko Mimori" and "I'm going to push into Suzuko Mimori's office today, April 22, at 4:30 p.m. and beat Suzuko Mimori to death."

The person with the 2ch user ID reportedly associated with the suspect also posted messages praising voice actress Rena Maeda. The user demanded that fellow 2ch users stop making fun of Maeda.
