EVE Online - Ultimatum - 05-27-2015
I sincerely doubt it, but does anybody play this game?
I really believe that it is the most complicated and well-thought out game out there (and I mean them all). It's also quite old; more than ten years, in fact. Surprisingly, it isn't one of those games you finish in a jiffy and move on... There are still many players from the day it was launched still playing today (that is to say you can't really finish the game).
Essentially, it's just a massive MMORPG that is set in outer-space. Over 7800 star systems to explore and a multitude of corporations and jobs to join and choose. You can be a pirate, a hauler, play on the market, PvP, PvE (just sort of like campaign NPC), exploration, trading and manufacturing (oh yeah and mining).
If enough people were interested, it would be pretty cool to have a Sinster.ly corporation on EVE, but really that's unlikely.
Sooo, does anybody play this? If not, what are your thoughts?

I used to play it. I think I was on a month or two ago to set up training If someone bought me a PLEX, I'd hop on. I'd also be entirely down for us having a corporation. I have some experience with Nullsec.

PLEX is a none issue, we could easily make that sort of ISK in game
Though I would like to gauge the interest from the rest of the forum

I would have bought it as it's on a 75% steam sale but it seems to be on a monthly subscription system.

You gotta do what you gotta do to keep the company running, and the servers online :/. It's not permanent, you could PLEX yourself once you've played enough.

Yeah, I guess it makes it more of an incentive to be able to pay off the subscription entirely from in-game money then.
As for a good game, you'll most definitely not find squeakers.

Played it before and it's an awesome game. Can be pretty much as casual or hardcore as you want to make it, though whether you have fun or not entirely depends your attitude towards the game.
I'm not sure if I would be up for playing again just because it becomes a gigantic timesink for me, but I definitely recommend it. Used to be a Market Trader/Small fleet PvPer back when I played making mad cash and space PewPewing opposing corporations in order to retain our corps hold on an area in nullsec ?
