Learning Java currently! - Blue - 04-19-2015

Just wondering, is it worth it, or should I be trying to focus on something different? I've learned just the basics currently, like how to do math, and make a little game with prompts and such, but should I continue moving on?

I'm learning Java right now like you.
I would suggest to move on, eventually we can do some projects together so it isn't as boring as doing it alone.

Greets.

Java is the boss Programming language. Just ask Google why they used it for android games?

Well, since Android apps are Java based, you can make some pocket change with developing while learning the language at the same time.

How I went from 'learning' languages:
Java>HTML/CSS>Java(more)>ASP>C Languages>Python>PHP
I still know next-to-nothing but that's because I'm lazy.

What I'd suggest:
C(C#/++)>Java>PHP>Ruby>Take your pick of what you liked.

Also in terms of learning how Java works and ripping it apart,

RuneScape Private Servers

I recommend Ruby first because it's easy as fuck.
I just started Java today and I'll definitely be continuing with it.
