Another Suggestion - Eclipse - 03-02-2015

I'm not sure if I've suggested this before, but I think it'd be nice to have a 'Janitor' award. Basically, add a new field in the user profile called 'Reported' or whatever. Whenever a user reports a post, and the report is acted on, it adds 1 to 'Reported'. Then, when that field reaches a certain amount, say 500, you get the Janator Award.

Thoughts?

First I've heard of this suggestion, just to double check the concept, is the award to encourage members to report spam-like posts?
If so I think this Award might just annoy moderators as they might get a flood of reported posts from users that want a easy award.

I understand that you only get +1 when your report is acted on, but who would moderators give +1 to if more then one member reports a post?

I suggest that field (that holds the score) can't be seen by members only moderators.

Anyway I've never reported a post before, who does?

Mhmm. The user and mods only. And if multiple people report a post, it's whoever reported it first. Oh, and it's only for reports that are acted on.
