NASA - $18,000 to Stay in Bed 70 Days - Dismas - 01-31-2015
Imagine sitting in bed for 70 days straight, without leaving? NASA is paying people around $18,000 to do that. I'd imagine that some sort of therapy would be needed after to regain motor skills.

Personally, I am not sure I could do this. Even though I'm not a very physical person, I have to spend at least some of my time each day doing something physical.

They should recruit homeless people instead, maybe? Although I guess that they need healthy volunteers and not just random people.

I would do this is a heartbeat, depending on the terms though. Like if i was allowed to chill on SL and play some sexbox during this time i wouldn't even think twice about it.

But you can't smoke, you can't drink. If you get restless, you can't move. No sex either, obviously.

I wonder if they want to study the effects of laying in bed that long on the human body with future plans of some type of deep-space mission to Mars.
