Wisdom Teeth - Oni - 12-23-2014 Due to the loss of posts (read the announceent), my previous thread about having my wisdom teeth removed was lost. Needless to say, I've been in bed 75% of the time. The 25% of the time I'm out of bed, I don't have energy to do much. Another reason why I hopped up the staff count. I'm taking painkillers and antibiotics, but they don't help a massive amount. It's not that unbearable or painful, just a little bit tedious. Anyone else had them removed? RE: Wisdom Teeth - pizzaguy541 - 12-24-2014 Didn't you have this done a while ago? I'm surprised to hear that you're still having problems. RE: Wisdom Teeth - OversouL - 12-24-2014 First thing, why do you get it removed? Also did you use that drug that gets you high when you had it removed? I'll have you know that I have found a new hobby watching videos of people getting their wisdom teeth removed. Some people don't actually have wisdom teeth (such as myself, i is luckeh), and some people have wisdom teeth that come in just fine without issue. The problem is many times when wisdom teeth come in, they don't develop entirely right (may be soft or grow at an irregular angle) and cause complications. No one gave me pain killers and I certainly did not have to be in bed for days and it didn't hurt THAT BAD after the drug dentist gives wears off. I was like 14 at the time(yep I was not supposed to have wisdom teeth at that time, my dentist was just as shocked as you are now)... Maybe ur just pussy that u need pills and sleep in bed lmao. Most people will feel a bit groggy with drillholes in their damn jaw. I had all 4 removed and I can literally stick my tongue in all 4 gaping craters. It isn't extremely painful, although I found that it took the energy out of me. I also got a fever 2-3 times. It hasn't been a week since the surgery, although I will probably be better (for the most part) soon. I have been more active the past couple days. Main issue is that I have had trouble sleeping and my sleeping pattern is fubar. They have to put you under with heavy anesthetic to do it, so I am sure you are confused. It is supposed to be a bit of a pain in the ass. RE: Wisdom Teeth - dopamine - 12-24-2014 (12-24-2014, 06:02 PM)Oni Wrote: Let me put it this way. I remember they gave me double shot and it still hurt like a bitch when they pulled it out. I couldn't even spit properly after dentist and smoking cigarettes(yea I used to smoke, I dont anymore) certainly felt funky. I don't even want to know how many shots they would give me to remove 4 teeth. Their fucking drugs are shit. I don't know how it is in USA, but here they don't use morphine for dental shit and even after a double shot(yep, two fucking syringes) the pulling hurts. RE: Wisdom Teeth - Earth - 01-08-2015 I am going in on the 21st to get mine removed, Honestly I am very nervous and the fact that I am scared of needles is not going to help any. I just hope I do not have complications. RE: Wisdom Teeth - thewalker - 01-09-2015 You guys are starting to scare me in what's waiting for me down the road. Actually if you are at least 16 years old you should go to the dentis get the x-ray see if they are even starting to come in yet, if they are get them removed ASAP. The longer you wait the harder it is to remove and the higher chance of nerve damage. |
