Music You Can't Stand? - Dreek Lass - 04-22-2013
I make music myself, so I understand the notion of being able to appreciate every other artists music, because I know what has gone into making that music and what effort it takers. Of course there are always going to be songs that I don't like, but I will probably always appreciate the production of those songs.
Having said that, I don't appreciate the music from artists such as Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne - SOME of Drake's songs are alright minus his rapping. I really think that Nikki Minaj is pointless. Justin Beiber too.
Are there any artists whose music you can't stand?

I absolutely agree with Demo in saying that Nicki Minaj's music is terrible. I also hate country/western music.

Yolo was hot when it came out but its people that ruined it and made it corny by overusing it. I personally hate metal and country music though.

I don't like metal as well, but I do like screamo. I am listening Paramore and that guy, Josh, is screaming like crazy! I love dubstep and I know that a lot of people don't like dubstep. I can't listen folk music (if you can call that music haha). It is really popular in my country and I hate my country as well

For me there are two styles of music I can't stand to listen to. Those would be Rap and Heavy Metal. For the most part when listening to these genres of music I have to wonder if these songs have real lyrics or if the person is just making up a bunch of stuff to say or in the case of heavy metal yell as they go along. I guess I'm just someone who prefers a song with good lyrics and also a good singer. For the most part these two genres don't seem to have this going for them in my opinion.

On topic - I'ma have to go with.... hiphop. Dutch hiphop is what I hate the most. It's really, really terrible.

That's like saying dubstep isn't music either because it's computer made. I personally don't like metal but it's just what other people like.
