How to make a simple background [Noobie Level] - Alex - 04-19-2013
To begin with start out with a blank canvas.
Note: This images are very big.

I used a 400 by 200 canvas because that is a size that find very nice.
Then you with go to Layer, New fill layer, then gradient maps.
It should look like this.

Double click the gradient fill

You can choose watever you want for gradient. But making it look like this. Makes it look better in my opinion.

You can also do this with text. Looks very good in minecraft yt backgrounds.
