Earlier this month, the founder of the Social Networking giant highlighted the future of universal Internet access, the dream that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg wants to fulfil, in an effort to make Internet access available to everyone across the world just like a service as essential as of 911 in the case of an emergency.

It would be funny if it turns out that Facebook just launched this project just so that they can moniter people more efficiently.

It's kind of sad.
You see these awesome ideas all the time, and it still ends up that nothing's happening.

3 years ago someone came up with an idea of replacing roads with some kind of solar thing that generates sun to electricity.
It was a great idea, but nothing happened.

As much as I want this to happen, I don't think it will. Sad

As much as I want this to happen, I don't think it will. Sad

Solar road ways are still under development and are being built. It's just hard to create funds to recreate a road system. They have to start small (parking lots, private residence, etc). As for facebook isp.. I don't trust it...

1000% this, FB are ruthless with their monitoring habits I will pretty much guarantee they will be logging literally everything you do. As the old sayings go
  • If its too good to be true it probably is
  • nothing in life is free (you will pay price for everything whether it be monetary or otherwise)

    If you value privacy/anonymity I recommend you stay as far away from this as possible, I already exposed some of their habits in a recent thread.
