Adding a splash page - ralf93 - 07-13-2014

Hey guys,
i just wanted to know how to add a welcome page to my forum (mybb),
im new to it so im not sure how to do it.
I have filezilla and AdminCP access to.

if i manage to an index.html with a welcome image with a button which redirects users to the forum, where do i put it?

help would be really appreciated, thanks.

I think you mean a SPLASH PAGE? There's a mod for it http://mods.mybb.com/archive/view/splash-page

when i try to install it, it gives me SQL error, cant seem to find the exact solution on web :/

Does that mybb plugin support the version of mybb you are using
?

oops. I have MyBB 1.6.14
and the plugin is for 1.2
