Your thoughts on marijuana - Hustler - 07-03-2014
So a while ago I read the article the FBI was looking to hire a large group of hackers. http://gizmodo.com/the-fbi-is-struggling-to-hire-hackers-who-dont-smoke-we-1579183208
They ran into problems with the FBI drug screening, almost nobody made it through, and tested positive for marijuana.
So thinking back on this article decided to see what HC thinks about it.
For me it opens up my mind and allows me to be alot more creative, focused, and makes me just all around happy :epic:
What are your thoughts?
Do you like marijuana?
Do you think it should be legalized?

I'm fine with people smoking marijuana as long as they don't brag about it and make it their lifestyle.
I've never smoked in my life and I'm not wanting to smoke either.
And about legalisation, Yes I think it should be legalized but I don't have any problems with it since I'm in The Netherlands

have been offered to try weed thousands of times. But I'm scared of the first weed Journey lets call it like this haha
even tho I don't have anything against it.Anyway weed has its advantages and disadvantages which keeps me very confused to try it or not lol

I dont care what people do with their own bodies in their own home.
That said as far as I am concerned anyone that tokes up, and say, drives a car and kills someone though. Hang em. Same goes for alcohol and other drugs. I'd say thered be a whole lot few drinking and driving accidents if there was capital punishment for the crime.

I have tried on several occasions to smoke yet every time I end up getting nauseous and sick. Not to mention every time the smoke fills my lungs I gag and cough.
Anyone who enjoys anything shouldn't be told not to do it. If it makes you feel good and you are happy with what you are doing and aware of possible ramifications. I say do it and in no way should anyone stop you but your self.

So far the poll seems to state that no one is against marijuana, but not alot of people here use it.
I have a theory about this, I may be assuming things here but i feel like most of you live in the Netherlands!
Meaning weed is technically already legal for you. For some reason in places marijuana is legalized alot less people seem to abuse it.
Maybe because the thrill of breaking the law is removed from the equation.
As humans we tend to want to bend and break rules, most likely because were awesome :epic:

I say do whatever you want with your body, I'm even pro suicide. Who am I or anyone else to tell you what you can and can't do with your own body? I do think there should be laws against public intoxication and extremely harsh ones for intoxicated driving, though. That DOES affect other people.

@Plexcon That's actually really interesting, I feel like alot of the people I have talked to are dutch :epic:
I wouldn't doubt it though being a hacker is the new "American Dream" lol
@Hatemind Lol funny enough in Britain the punishment for suicide attempt use to be death :epic: little off topic but hilarious.
But I agree, as long as you do it in a manner that wont negatively affect yourself or someone else there should be no problem!

There seem to be a lot of dutch hackers, it's interesting.
Really? In the US you get held under mental evaluation for a minimum of a week if anyone gets their hands on you. Mostly happens to teens. I don't understand why anyone would really care if you wanted to kill yourself, you're going to die anyway.
