Fuck you microsoft! - BlueCat - 07-02-2014

Opened up my xbox to try and find what type of dvd drive I had though when opening it the ribbon snapped so I decided to stop so then I put my shit back together and now it won't turn off! Fuck microsoft for making shit consoles!

It's because you're using Consoles. PC = Masterrace.

But on topic, I guess you want to Flash your xbox so you can play pirated games with burned DVD's?

You could've just popped the front open and there's some cable that will tell you i.e.:Black + Red is Samsung, White is BenQ, None is Hitachi and Yellow is LiteOn or just opened the drive and see what the little plastic tray looks like where you put your DVD's in.

BTW you probably don't have a warranty on it now since you removed the seal.

I would say its a hitachi, but though my xbox is the 360 e so dunno

They're all xbox360 drives but they differ from each version.

IIRC Hitachi is the one that you can flash with just a SATA cable and without any third-party flash hardware.

I couldn't agree with you more mate, fuck Microsoft.
I find it extreamly annoying how I have to re-flasg my console like every 4 months and then buy Dual Layar discs, download the game, patch the ISO, burn the disc and then pray that the disc works perfectly.

I'm honestly thinking about investing in a Gaming Laptop with swapable parts. I've had it with this console shit.

+ Steam also gives away free games from time to time. So that's definetly a huge advantage over Consoles, since Sony and Microsoft give away games only to PSN Plus / Xbox Live Gold members -_-

Only reason am saying hitachi is because there's no wires but there is black plastic. But here is the disc tray.
