Okay, so basically this thread is just for me to RANT about the current Drug system we've got in out world. Right, I like the fact that drugs such as meth, herion and crack are illegal, as that shit will fuck you. But, what about the rest?
We've got Alcohol and ciggerettes, killing thousands of people a year. Alcohol breaks apart families and is a direct fault in a big part of the worlds violence. Ciggerettes plays a huge part in the cause of cancer, as well as highly contributing to Global warming. Yet these are legal drugs? Good drugs? We've got painkillers which are highly addictive, but are legal? Good drugs? But then we have Marijuana, Extasy, LSD and Shrooms? Make you social, happy and generally have a good time. Bad drugs? What the fuck is this logic?
See, what I see rather co-incedental. Is all the LEGAL drugs, all the so-called "Good drugs" are all TAXED. Yet all the bad drugs, are not taxed? So, I think it's not about the harm it does to your body, it's the fact that they're not making money from it!

Well they cant make as much money off weed. A friend of a friend does enjoy the occasional line of oxy or blow. He cant comment on meth or heroin tho.

I thought about that quite a lot, and I think they could. There's still cigarette dealers, yet the government are making bank off of them.

Meth, coke and ecstasy have near identical effects on the body, so you can't discount meth and coke but say X is good.
Allow LSD and shrooms? The fuck? I don't want it to be legal to have any guy walking down the street seeing shit.
Heroin is legal, just not in pure opiate form. There is an entire class of legal pain killers derived from opium.

I think they should just legalize it to people over the age of 21, there won't be as much smuggling and wars resulting over drugs. There won't be people wasting so much money on it and since it's easy to get to most people will have the cop-on to do it in moderation.
If you aren't allowed do something / have something how much more do you feel the need to do something / have something?
It's much greater then if you can get at it...
