HC Boot Animation in Action
About:
A boot animation that can be used on any rooted Android Mobile or Tablet device. You may replace your original boot animation with this.
How to install this
Requirements:
[A rooted Android Device]
To install this boot animation in your device you must ensure that your device is rooted. To root your device, you can always take help from Google.
[A File manager App that can Access Root directory]
Ex: ES Explorer, Root explorer, etc. My Favorite is Xplore (from LonelyCat Games)
Method:
Spoiler: -->
1. Transfer the bootanimation.zip file to your SD card.
2. On your Device open your File Manager [root access] and navigate to Root --> System --> Media --> bootanimation.zip
3. You have to replace this bootanimation.zip file with the one you download from here. So, first, rename the original bootanimation.zip file to anything you want, since you would like to keep it backed-up. Now, copy the downloaded bootanimation.zip file to this directory from your SD Card. This way, you replaced your boot animation file.
4. Restart.
5. Did you see the new boot animation? Cool Eh!!

A. No. Never. Its safe to use. Even if the installation fails, and there are boot problems, you can restart your device again to restore everything back to normal automatically.
2. My screen size is way too large or too small for this boot animation. How do I handle this?
A. Open the new bootanimation.zip file using Winrar. You will find a file called desc.txt. Open it in notepad and look at the first two numbers. xxx xxx . Replace them with your screen size. For example: 240 320 [for 240x320] or 1080 720 [720x1080] and so on. Hit Ctrl + S and close the file. Winrar will say You have made changes to some files and blah blah blah..Do you want to put then back in Archive..Blah Blah Blah...Hit Yes/Ok and close it. Now, install it to your device. If you do not want to mess around with it, just leave a post below with your screen size information, and I'll float one for your size.

NOTE: Some Devices with Custom ROMs Have their Boot Animation files in different directories [Rare Case], so you may not find the exact directory of the boot animation file. Drop in your device model and I'll tell you where to drop this file.
UPDATE: Samsung Phones support QMG files instead of the default Android bootanimation.zip. So, Samsung Users need to flash this file to their device to enable bootanimation.zip. Thanks to @chmod for pointing it out.
To flash this file, Restart your device in recovery mode, and flash the above samsungani zip file and restart. Now, you should be able to use the bootanimation.zip normally.

This looks great, but I will have to wait until later as I'm using a Samsung device which uses their propriety format :Not-Amused:
Once I've charged the battery I'll flash the files needed and try this out.

The QMG shit from Samsung. God knows why they try to be so much sophisticated. Thank you for pointing this out. I'll add the required files for Samsung to the thread.

I already have the file, but thanks anyway. I've attached it to this post.
If anyone is unsure what to do, just save it to the SD card and flash it under in the recovery. This will allow you to use any normal bootanimation file
EDIT:
Flashing now, just remember always back up your current ROM before flashing a zip file, it should go smoothly but you never know.
