[DETECTED] How to turn off punkbuster in The War Z - BlueScreen - 06-07-2013
Its detected now. Fun as long as it lasted. Undo the below steps or you will be banned.
Hey sinister. Found a really simple way to disable punkbuster anticheat for the war z, thus leaving the game without a client side anticheat.
Here's how:
1. First goto "C:\Users\*User*\AppData\Local\PunkBuster\TWZ\pb\
2. Open up "pbclgame.cfg"
3. Edit the line cl_punkbuster. (Change 1 to 0)
4. Goto "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\"
5. Now find "PnkBstrA.exe" and "PnkBstrB.exe" in there.
6. Delete them / Or move them to desktop or anywhere except that folder.
7. Start WarZ and Login.
8. Click "Play"
9. It will say something like "You need PunkBuster service to be running to play Online", Ignore it. You are still able to play online.
So basically a huge fucking fail on HP's side.
Disclaimer: This is just a quickfix untill someone make's a decent bypass. Have fun

This also works in Battlefield 3. But only for like 15 minutes or so.

It's not that easy. Punkbuster randomly checks if each client has it running, so you'll get kicked in a *relatively* short amount of time. But no anticheat is great enough that doing such a ham-handed way of bypassing is warranted.

It doesn't do that for the war z. I was streaming with cheats all day yesterday.

Just because you don't understand it that doesn't mean it sucks.
I'm not saying you dont know what you're doing, but generally when people say The War Z sucks they're either a Day Z fanboi or doesn't understand how to PVP or kill zombies. (Hint: you have to hit the zombies in the head)
Just play it for a few hours and get some guns so you can defend yourself from evilfags. If you need some cheats feel free to PM me.
