MAC on WINDOWS? - shayuken - 04-30-2014 Hey guys, is there a way to put a mac system onto a windows computer? If yes how does this work? Greets, shayken RE: MAC on WINDOWS? - chmod - 04-30-2014 you will probably be able to download the iso and load it onto your system just like you would any other OS just bear in mind you will likely run into driver issues as OSX is built to run on specific hardware so don't expect a great deal of support for other systems. RE: MAC on WINDOWS? - shayuken - 04-30-2014 allright, thank you for the fast reply RE: MAC on WINDOWS? - levi01 - 04-30-2014 I'am a mac user, i maybe can help you with this : http://www.macbreaker.com/2014/01/install-osx-mavericks-on-pc-with-niresh.html As @chmod mentioned you can run into serious props. Be sure before you start you have to make a decent back-up of your system and documents!!! Depending on your Bios this manual can be different, i know from friends that HP drivers are conflicting most times. Good luck. RE: MAC on WINDOWS? - Inori - 05-02-2014 If there's an OSX install disc like for windows, you could format your HDD and install from that. It's lazy but it's the most successful if the disc exists. RE: MAC on WINDOWS? - ralf93 - 05-02-2014 you can use boot cam to run both windows and mac. RE: MAC on WINDOWS? - levi01 - 05-02-2014 You can use bootcamp to run Windows on Mac, but TS is asking for Mac OS on windows solution. There are some solutions like VMware, but as i know in most cases you will run into probs with most drivers. In my opinion to run OSX proberly buy a Mac to stay out of probs. And yes on my mac i run everything, OSX, Ubuntu and Windows on my mac thru Parallels Desktop without probs

And it only cost twice the price of a regular computer :troll: RE: MAC on WINDOWS? - levi01 - 05-03-2014 (05-02-2014, 11:06 PM)chmod Wrote: And it only cost twice the price of a regular computer :troll: I use Mac on a regular base and code a lot with Xcode so the price doesnt matter to me :-)) And also i have to pay Apple $100,- a year for my developer account. Just another example of Apple leaching as much money as possible from customers I guess |
